 Bird FeedingWe feed the native bird life every afternoon at 5.00pm (4.30pm during winter). This is a great experience for the whole family because you not only learn about the birds but you also get to feed them yourself. Bring your camera, a hat & a shirt! |
 Jumping PillowThe kids will have a ball on our jumping pillow. It will wear them out as well giving you some quiet time. It operates between 7.00 am & 6.00pm. |
 Outdoor MoviesThese are held at 7.00pm every Wednesday & Saturday nights (or every night in school holidays), weather permitting, in the open area near the petrol bowsers. We only show family movies so bring your chairs & a blanket along!! |
 New Swimming Pool ComplexWe are very proud of our new swimming pool complex and the joy that it brings to our guests. Enjoy a refreshing dip in one of our 3 new pools on a hot day or just relax by the water and read a book. |
 BettongsBefore going to the movie why not have a close look at the Bettongs. They will be over at the bird feeding area cleaning up the seed that the birds have left behind. These little marsupials are the smallest of their kind and only come out at night time. |
Bush WalksThere are a variety of walks to suit all levels of fitness. Take the time to see the abundant fauna & flora that our region has to offer. |
FishingLake Cania is well stocked with a variety of fish including Bass, Saratoga, Silver Perch & Yellow Belly. Remember to get your fishing licence at the office and take note of the bag limits and sizes. We also have a boat that is available for hire. Bait and lures are available for purchase at the office. (Boat Hire: $45.00/halfday. Licences: $7.00 / week or $35/year) |
 Wine TastingHeld at 5.30pm every Saturday afternoon in the open area to the left of the office. Come and sample the excellent wines produced by our local winery "Waratah Vineyard". There is a $3.00 tasting fee to cover the cost of the wines. Purchases can be made at reception any time.

Tennis CourtThe tennis court is available for hire and racquets and balls are included in the fee. Be sure to book early!! (Court Hire: $7.50) |
 Open FiresFires are permitted in existing fireplaces or in drums that are available upon request. Firewood is available for purchase from reception @ $10. Please place orders before 4pm. |
 Self Drives,4WD tripsThere are many excellent but kind 4x4 drives in the Monto Shire steeped in gold and agricultural history, as well as the crash site of the American Liberator Bomber "Beautiful Betsy", - see reception for further information (8 hour round trip for the serious 4x4's!!). |
 KayaksWe have 3 double & 1 single kayak and 1 double fishing canoe available for hire. Paddle around Lake Cania at a relaxed and gentle pace, enjoying the bird & fish life, or just life in general. (Kayak Hire: $25.00/halfday) |
Camp Oven DinnerHeld at 6:30pm every Monday (except school holidays).Come and enjoy a delicious roast beef, veggies and dessert in the big camp kitchen. After dinner we will have some light entertainment.
$15 per person, bookings essential by midday on Mondays.
