 Bird FeedingWe feed the native bird life every afternoon at 5pm (4.30pm during winter). This is a great experience for the whole family because you not only learn about the birds but you also get to feed them yourself. Bring your camera, a hat & a shirt! |
 Jumping PillowsThe kids will have a ball on our 2 jumping pillows. It will wear them out as well as giving you some quiet time. They operate between 7.00 am & 6.00pm. |
 Pools & Water Park ComplexCool down, relax and read a book by any of the 3 Pools. Kids will just love to play in the new Water Park. Mums & Dads, it is your responsibility to supervise the kids when they are in the Pool/Water Park Complex. The complex hours are 7am to dusk. |
 Outdoor MoviesFamily movies are held at 7.00pm every Wednesday & Saturday night (6.30 in Winter) (or every night in school holidays) weather permitting, in the open grassed area near the petrol bowsers, so bring along your chairs & a blanket !! If it does happen to rain we show the movie in our Events Room. |
 BettongsBefore going to the movie why not have a close look at the Bettongs. They will be over at the bird feeding area cleaning up the seed that the birds have left behind. These little marsupials are the smallest of their kind and only come out at night time. |
Bush WalksThere are a variety of walks to suit all levels of fitness. Take the time to see the abundant fauna & flora that our region has to offer. |
FishingLake Cania or Cania Dam as some call it, is well stocked with a variety of fish including Bass, Saratoga, Silver Perch & Yellow Belly. Remember to get your Fishing Licence at the office and take note of the bag limits and sizes. Bait and lures are available for purchase at the office/shop. Fishing Licences: Weekly $7.45, Yearly $37.30 or $32.40 for Seniors/Pensioners.
We also have a boat that is available for hire. (Boat Hire: $60.00 half day, $120 a whole day). |
 Wine TastingAt 5.30pm every Saturday afternoon in Summer or 5pm in Winter, you can come along to our Restuarant area next to the Office and sample the excellent wines produced by 'Clovely Estate Winery' near Murgon. A small tasting fee of $5 is charged to sample these lovely wines and you may purchase them at the tasting, or at Reception after 10am. |
Tennis CourtThe tennis court (including racquets & balls) is available for hire. Be sure to book early!! (Court Hire: $7.00) |
 Open FiresFires are permitted in existing fireplaces or in drums that are available upon request. Firewood is available for purchase from reception @ $18 per load. Please place orders before 4pm. A 'Camp Fire Indemnity' form must be completed and signed prior to lighting any fire. |
 Self Drive 4WD TripsIn the Monto Shire, which is steeped in gold and agricultural history there are many excellent but kind 4x4 drive tracks including the crash site of the American Liberator Bomber "Beautiful Betsy". See reception for further information (8 hour round trip for the serious 4x4's!!). |
 KayaksWe have 3 double & 1 single kayak available for hire. Paddle around Lake Cania at a relaxed and gentle pace, enjoying the bird & fish life, or just life in general. (Kayak Hire: $30.00 a half day) |
Camp Oven DinnerEvery Monday evening at 6.30pm. Come along to the restuarant in the big shed next to the shop and enjoy a delicious roast beef meal, with baked veggies, peas, beans and carrots and follow it up with a scrumptous apple crumble and custard dessert. After dinner we sometimes have some light entertainment.
$20 per person, bookings essential by mid afternoon on Monday.

Challenging nine hole golf course

Adding to the wide choice of activities ad facilities we offer guests at Cania Gorge Caravan and Tourist Park is something sure to please golfers keen to include a few rounds during their holiday.
The cania 'Royal' Nine par 3 Golf Course offers both enjoyment and stimulation with narrow fairways ranging from 22 metres to 96 metres. The bushland setting provides plenty of challenges not only from the forest but also water hazards and keeping from going out of bounds.
If you're bringing your own clubs then you'll probably need an 8 and 9 iron, a pitching wedges and putter. You can of course hire clubs from reception and green fees apply but our unlimited weekly packages lets you play as many times as you wish. All players are welcome - children must be supervised by an adult.

Small Lap Dogs PermittedOnly small lap dogs owned by travellers touring Australia - may be permitted in the Park. Only in non peak periods & only on designated Powered Sites in the Starlight area of the Park. Approval must be obtained at time of booking. A daily fee applies if we accept your dog. |
