Holidays should be relaxing and rejuvenating, but if your little ones are feeling tired the rest of the family most likely are too. Here are our Top 3 Tips to help make sure your kids get a good night’s sleep to avoid tantrums and restless nights.
- Be room ready – Make sure the kids’ beds are made and ready to be jumped into to avoid delays and distractions when it’s time to call it a night.
- Stick to your routine – While bedtime tends to be less of a strict concept while on holidays, try to stick to the same sleep schedule and before-bed routine as much as possible.
- Home away from home – Try making the kids’ room similar to their sleeping environment at home. Consider bringing their usual linen and don’t forget their favourite toy! This will make things seem and smell familiar.
We hope that these tips will help and that you all will have plenty of energy to enjoy all the fun things you can get up to while visiting. Have a great stay!
